Pick one color? NAHHHH

When picking a color scheme we weren't really sure what we wanted to do. We knew we liked blue and gray together, but eventually decided that it is too soft for us. We wanted something that highlighted who we were as a couple. I love weddings that have black in them, but again not enough color.
We knew rainbow was too 'rainbow' for us, but liked the idea of many colors thrown together.
So multi- colored it was!

Our Pinspiration below!

love the top picture of the dresses
I liked the pictures of the color bridesmaids dresses that I found on Pinterest, but knew I didn't just want to stick to the classic rainbow colors. The picture above was okay, but too much primary action for me.

Cool rainbow wedding. I like how the flowers match each dress. Not sure I would do this but it's cool! Oh, and that's a lot of bridesmaids!
I wanted a mix of bold, pastel, and primary colors all thrown together. Kind of like the color scheme above!

I wasn't sure if this would work or we could pull it off. So it was time to play around with the color swatches. We needed 10 colors that all worked together well.
YES I said 10.

Hang on, bridesmaid dress and color scheme revealed coming next!

Dress to impress.

Each girl will be wearing the same dress, but in different colors.
Since the wedding is in January, I knew we wanted to do long dresses, and I also knew I wanted NO SATIN. I am just not a huge fan of the satin in long dresses, but loved the flow vibe I was getting from the chiffon. MOH Bay tried on the dress I loved, until I saw the price tag, which made me want to throw up.
After a few more options we finally found the perfect dress.
Long. Chiffon. Avaliable in 50 colors.
and bonus! The dress had straps so the girls wouldn't have to mess with pulling their dress up all night.

After picking out the dress, we finally had narrowed down some color options, or so we thought.
50 options. How would we ever choose?!
MOH Bay and I sat down with the beautiful chiffon color swatches and picked and pulled colors for 45 minutes until we came up with the perfect mix!

READY...

SET...

HERE IT IS!

Pomegranate, Purple Storm, Jade, Fuchsia, Viola Purple, Cherry Red, Tangelo Orange, Mediterranean Blue, Coral, and Shamrock.

I love that they all blend together perfectly, not one color stands out too much. I am extremely happy with how this turned out and can't wait to see each girl in their color!
Stick around to find out what sassy girl will be wearing each color. :)

Will you....?

One of the first things I did was put together my fab group of girls who I wanted to be my bridesmaids.
But since we are in the Pinterest era, I had to find a cute way to ask my girlies.
So here it is!
I found this adorable template (hinting at our color scheme) and knew it was meant to be!

The day, the dress, the bride, the groom, the joy, the tears, will all come soon.
Professing true love to my husband to be
with my family and friends all watching me.
There is just one more thing that needs to be...
I need you standing there next to me.
I couldn't say "I do" without YOU!
Will you be my bridesmaid?

I shipped a few off in the mail, and hand delivered the rest with a hand written note explaining how much our friendship means to me and why they HAVE to be in my wedding party. ;)
I must have been pretty convincing because they all said yes!

Dance Partay!

We will tie the knot at our perfectly placed church, and then head on over to the BEAUTIFUL reception place we have picked out, The Heritage Hall. This is a place where we will get to dance the night away with those closest to us and this is where our traditions as newlyweds will begin. This makes me smile even when I am writing it. This is everything I have ever wanted.

Things you may see at our wedding:
---tons of colored lighting young and hip, like the super cool couple we are.
---perfect dance floor where you will find us shaking our big booty(s) all night long!

There was no doubt in our mind the dance floor was a big deal to us!
Here is a recent video of us to prove how much we love to dance:

Glass and Sass

SEE THIS BEAUTY?!
This is it. The place where I will walk down the aisle to my handsome groom!
Not the best picture, considering I am driving by, but it is so beautiful!

It is nestled on an ugly highway in the middle of land. One thing I have learned about Conrad is that he is in love with fields. It only adds to the perfection that our church is sitting in the middle of a large flat field.

When you walk in the front door there is a small entryway and then you are greeted with a HUGE glass wall. This is the view from the altar.

I am obsessed with the glass wall. You can see right into the sanctuary, and I just think the it adds so much fun!
The wedding coordinator that helps out with the weddings at this church is FABULOUS. She is young, fun, and is willing to help us with whatever we need. She wants this day to be ours. and I 100% know it will represent us as a couple.
The picture below shows the view from right inside the glass wall. the Middle aisle is the one on the left.

The convenience of this place couldn't be better. It is 4 minutes away from my house, good thing, in case something gets forgotten.

Every time I drive by this beauty I just get so excited. It is a stepping stone to begin our future together!
